About Us www.airtech.co.uk Online….. by Airtech Air Conditioning Services Limited are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. If you have any suggestions or comments please email us at ac@airtech.co.uk. We only provide UK Specification Machines to any UK Address. The machines we offer only run on 240 volt 50 Hz mains power supplies. Non UK customers please contact alternative suppliers.
Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Online Shop, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.We accept credit card payment for shipment within mainland United Kingdom using the Paypal System. We are unable to ship orders to other countries at the moment. We accept Visa and Mastercard. Payment is taken automatically online via paypal and the goods are then ready to ship. If an item goes out of stock and becomes a Back order we will notify you within 1-5 normal working days.
Shipping And Handling We are only able to offer equipment for shipping within the UK. All Electrical Units are supplied with UK plugs suitable only for 240 volt 50Hz mains power supplies in the UK. We do not offer units in other voltages such as 110 volt models as used in the USA.
Delivery Schedule Subject to holding the goods in stock we will process your order right away. Our delivery charge is based on delivering the unit or units to Main Land UK Only, we will normally send your order to you within 5-7 business days from receipt of your orders. Note we are unable to despatch to any other countries outside the main land UK. Should you want a unit in mainland Europe then please email us to get a quote for delivery.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK, 20% VAT is added. Presently we are unable to supply equipment to other countries.
Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted via the Paypal third party payment system as the order is placed. They are not held in clear text on any web site. You will see the Golden Padlock when entering Paypal section for payment details.
Guarantee All units come with a 12 month warranty parts and labour. This is covered by Airtech on a return to base warranty only. Please call our customer services team should you feel the product is faulty. Please carefully select the product you need, we can only guarantee that the product meets the performance specification provided. Should the products not meet your expectations then monies will not be refundable and exchanges are not possible.

Quotations

Our quotes are valid for 30 days from submission. If Prices from suppliers rise after 30 days, we may or may not increase the price.

VAT

All quotations are exclusive of VAT. We will add VAT at the current rate of 20% of the quoted price unless the Government changes it.

Where applicable, we operate reverse charge VAT within the construction industry.

Warranty

Warranty is based on the equipment being serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

If a failure occurs, due to lack of maintenance, the warranty is voided.

Warranty on goods is based on the Warranty that we get from either the manufacturer or third-party supplier. As many systems comprise a mix of different component parts, the length of Warranty can vary and, in some cases, does not include the labour cost to change a defective component part or any associated costs.

In many instances during the first year, most defective parts are replaced free of any charges, but there are certain exceptions from different suppliers. For example, there may be a 3-year Warranty on the main equipment, but only a 6 or 12 month warranty on the auxiliary pump that pumps away condensate water.

Controls and third-party controls.

Many systems now incorporate control via Smart phone, or control via a third -party BMS (Building Management System). If assistance is required, regarding the operation, setting up and use of this technology, then this will incur extra costs based on the time spent by our engineer or third-party controls specialist.

Fault finding on BMS systems will often require one of our engineers plus a controls specialist.

Variations to Order

If you have a change of mind and add or subtract to what has been quoted, the price will be adjusted up or down, subject to agreement in writing.

 

Delays to Works

If our works are delayed by no fault of our own and access is denied at the agreed time, through the actions or lack of action by other contractors, we will charge for wasted time.

Payment Terms

We credit check all new Business customers and approved customers will be granted credit terms of payment, which requires payment within 30 days from the end of the month in which the invoice is raised.

Private customers or non-approved business customers will need to pay a 50% to 100% deposit dependant on the financial status, in advance of the works. Payment of the balance would be required on completion of the works.

Title to Goods Supplied

If we supply and install equipment that you, your agent or anyone else authorises and you fail to pay in full for the works within 90 days, we reserve the right to attend site and remove the equipment or parts supplied.

Title for the goods does not pass from Airtech Service & Maintenance Limited to the purchaser until the invoice sum is paid in full.

Approvals

Most of our works do not require approvals by the Local Authority, Landlords or planning departments, but if any approvals are required, this will incur extra costs to obtain these permissions.

Please note, that for installations in London, Planning permission is generally required for the installation of external equipment and often, Landlords permission is also required.

Discounts

If you require a main Contractor discount or retentions of payment or an agent’s discount, please talk to us before placing your order.

Cancellation.

If you cancel an order, you may be charged restocking of equipment charges and administration time.

Abortive Visits

An abortive visit will be chargeable if less than 24 hours cancellation notice is received. This will be charged per engineer that would be undertaking the works.

Non-Payment

Failure to pay in full for works carried out will result in legal action.

Agreement

By placing an order, you agree to the above terms.
