HVAC Mechanical Contracts / Sales Design Contracts Engineer – August 2023

(Office based Position with Site Surveys) updated 27-08-2023

A Mechanical Heating Contracts / Design Engineer is required to join our Contracts team based in the East Grinstead. The successful applicant will working within an established design / sales team covering the London and the Home Counties responsible for developing relationships with new and existing clients in both Commercial and Residential sectors.

The ideal candidate should have an excellent grasp of everything required to project manage small, medium and large installations of Gas Heating, Air Source Heat Pumps and plumbing, it would be good if you also have knowledge of  Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Controls incorporating design, quotations, project managing installation works, commissioning and handover to the Service & Maintenance team.

It would be beneficial for the applicant to have proven track record at quoting and winning contracts within the HVAC industry. A good technical knowledge of Heating & Plumbing, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Controls systems is imperative for dealing with customers and sub-contractors.

Airtech Air Conditioning Services Ltd also operate a Service & Maintenance business and the successful applicant will work side by side with this department to win potential new Maintenance Contracts and liaise with them on the ongoing Contracts.

As the Mechanical Contracts / Design Engineer you will have the following duties and responsibilities:-

• Undertaking design of Heating & Plumbing Mechanical Services to meet clients design specifications or requirements
• Providing calculations and detailed design drawings as well as system schematics in-line with design specifications, with the assistance from our in-house CAD Technician.
• Prepare competitive customer quotations based on customer needs through conducting site surveys, responding to tender requests or customer meetings
• Procurement and liaising with Sub-Contractors and Suppliers for Equipment and Materials.

• Attending site surveys / meetings.
• Ensuring projects are completed per schedule and within budget.
• Carry out any duties required to allow the successful growth of the Contracts team.
• Good communication skills are key for this role as you will be required to liaise with clients, Sub-contractors, suppliers etc. on a daily basis.

The successful candidates should ideally have: –

• Good all round knowledge of Mechanical building services including Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation, plumbing and Control systems.

Plumbing & Heat Pump Heating Installation Engineer (Mobile Position)

We are recruiting Plumbing & Heating Installation Mechanical Building Services Engineer with knowledge. The applicant must a Plumbing Qualification and have a good knowledge of building services systems. The position is a role covering site installation and maintenance work. It is a mobile role with a company vehicle covering mainly London and the South East. (Minimum of 10 Years Experience). All Engineers must have knowledge of driving within Central London. 40 hours on site Monday to Friday Negotiable salary package according to experience, with optional overtime. Air Conditioning Refrigeration Engineer (Mobile Position) August 2023

We require enthusiastic, self-motivated experienced Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Service Engineers with a good all round knowledge of VRV/VRF, Split Type Air Conditioning systems, chillers and Portable Systems. Experience in gas fired heating and control systems would an advantage. (Minimum of 10 years experience). The role will involve routine Maintenance, Fault Finding and Repair Works to various types of Air Conditioning / Chiller Systems. In and around the M25 area Central London. Applicants must answer Yes to the items detailed below:-

• F-GAS CAT 1
• Essential Electrics Qualification
• Full knowledge of Daikin VRV, Mitsubishi VRV4/VRF
• Service History on Altherma / Ecodan

We are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer with Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation knowledge. The applicant must be Gas Safe registered and have a good knowledge of control systems. The position is a senior engineer’s role covering site supervision and hands on service and maintenance work. It is a mobile role with a company vehicle covering mainly London and the South East. (Minimum of 10 Years Experience). All Engineers must have knowledge of driving within Central London. 40 hours on site Monday to Friday Negotiable salary package according to experience, with optional overtime.
