Daikin Air Conditioning Daikin Air Source Heat Pump Efficiency and Profitability Altherma

A heat pump boiler works much more efficiently and saves more energy than a traditional heating system based on fossil fuels. With Altherma, 1kW of electricity consumption generates 3 kW to 5 kW of free heat. As a result, the CO2 emissions generated for your heating can be reduced by up to 57%*, compared to a traditional combustion based fuel boiler or by 28% compared to a condensing gas boiler
*57% compared to a fuel boiler; results compared to a gas boiler : -28% of CO2 emissions
Calculations based on the following conditions:
-
House with annual heating requirements of 20.000kW/h
-
Fuel boiler efficiency 89%. Gas boiler efficiency 93%
-
European CO2 emission factor of electricity = 0,399kg/kWh (Eurelec Program 2001). For Fuel = 0,269kg/kWh, for gas= 0,202kg/kWh
