Airtech Health & Safety Accreditations
Airtech Air Conditioning Services holds full accreditation to Safecontractor, Exor, CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) and ConstructionLine.
Safecontractor member companies have been assessed in their full range of working practices to ensure they work to the most safety conscious standards when on client sites. The scheme is operated by National Britannia, one of the UK’s largest specialists in safety management.
The EXOR accreditation is based on a series of criteria covering risk management, financial stability and trading history (established through independent reference sources) and compliance with environmental best practices.
Companies holding CHAS accreditation have been stringently vetted for working procedures that comply with specific standards of quality management, compliance and commitment to health and safety standards. The scheme was developed by various local authority health and safety professionals with the support of the UK Health and Safety Executive. Companies approved to the scheme have met defined standards covering technical ability, equal opportunities, insurance cover and health and safety.
Constructionline is The Department of Trade and Industry’s (now known as the Department of Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform) UK register of pre-qualified companies. It is used by procurement professionals in both the Private and Public sectors as the first point of reference for short listing suitable services providers.
